S is for Signs
Since this is S week, I'll keep this introduction short and sweet. S is for signs and I'm only posting one shot but it contains dozens of signs.
Salutations to the ABC Wednesday Show Stoppers.

R is for READ
Sometimes the mind goes where it will go.
I look at the word READ, and I don't know how to pronounce it.
If it's a verb in the present tense, it's pronounced like REED:
The common reed:
Reed Richards of the comic book group, the Fantastic Four
Nikki Reed, who was in those Twilight movies, as you may know (I didn't).
One would conjugate the verb:
I read. You read. He/she/it reads. We read. You read. They read.
If it's a verb in the past tense, it's pronounced like the color (or colour) RED:
One would conjugate the verb:
I read. You read. He/she/it read. We read. You read. They read.
Regardless of the tense, one should READ all the fine entries on ABC Wednesday this week. I'm sure you will have READ them by this time next week. After all, reading is FUNdamental.

Q and Hamlet.
Unbelievable , but we've arrived at one of the most difficult letters of the alphabet: the Q.
To queue or not to queue that is the question! I raise a query here! Does this quaint quotation qualify as being quickly and quietly questioned by the quarrelsome son of Queen Gertrud? He was never in Queensland, never travelled with Qantas, never saw a large quantity of Quinkan Rock Art of high quality.
Quite questionable if he ever played quarter notes in a quartet of queers. He never read a quarterly, never answered a quiz, but the quintessence was: he was quite quizzical , quippish and quick-tempered.
By signing in to ABC Wednesday you acknowledge, that you have read the rules and agree to follow them. Please find a photo or a word which refers to the letter Q.
Let's thank Mrs. Nesbitt who created this fun meme! Thanks Denise.
Kind regards from Reader Wil.

P is for People
I think it's really great that we have this clever Internet technology. But without the PEOPLE to connect to, it would be an empty exercise. Folks who aren't involved online tend to think it is not POSSIBLE to make friends with folks you have never met in PERSON. I PROBABLY felt the same before I began blogging. But now I find that my PEEPS are all over the world!
Here are some PEOPLE songs:
People by Shirley Bassey
People Are Strange by the Doors
People Get Ready by the Impressions
People Got to be Free by the Rascals
