AFA movies go: Silver Linings Playbook is one of the most sensitive, hilarious, heart-wrenching, uplifting movies with a mental illness subplot I have EVER seen. I urge everyone who doesn't have mental illness (and I do) to see this. It's an eye opener, and Jennifer Lawrence deserved every molecule of that Oscar. And guess what? Bradley Cooper can ACT. <br /><br />Incidentally, I'm using Mom's pic as my Gravatar this week. We'd seen the play a couple of times, but the movie was soooo different. Yes, it's a musical. But certainly not the typical musical.
