E is for Excellent
ABC Wednesday is an EXALTED ENTITY.
Sure, we ENJOY the ECLECTIC, EXHAUSTIVE ENTRIES EARTHWIDE. They may be ENERGETIC, EXCITING, maybe a bit EMBARRASSING. They may ENTAIL EDUCATIONAL ESSAYS that are EXPANSIVE, ENLIGHTENING, and ENTICING.
ABCW is also EASY. Some memes ENTREAT the ENTRANTS narrowly, but ABC Wednesday is ECUMENICAL, only wanting you to EXECUTE the theme, it is hoped in an ENTERTAINING way.
But on a EXTREMELY personal note, I was ENCOURAGED and ELATED by the outpouring of EMPATHY I received after my mother's unEXPECTED passing. It was an ENDURING legacy of Mrs. Nesbitt, not only to create an EXHILARATING meme, but one that EXISTS as a community with an EXPECTATION of caring. You are EXCEPTIONAL people.
I EAGERLY say, Thank you! (Hope this ESSAY is adequate for the purposes of ETIQUETTE.)
- Roger
Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Lantern Festival to all Chinese Communities out there!

Shalom to all and special thanks to Roger for the introduction for E Day. I went to your blog to catch up on all your writing about the family and the funeral--so interesting and touching.
ReplyDeleteExcellent, Roger, an eloquent entrance to E day. And I agree this is an engaging community of bloggers.
ReplyDeleteExceedingly adequate for etiquette and excellent for the letter E.
ReplyDeleteA happy ABC Wednesday to all participants and to the most excellent team.
ReplyDeleteRoger, as the saying goes, it takes one to know one! Exceptional is as exceptional does. :)
ReplyDeleteOn Valentine's day, I helped my students write a poem for their mum. Excellent was one of the attributes they used.
ReplyDeleteWe really love ABC Wednesday over at Communal Global! Thank you for letting us participate.
ReplyDeleteToday we are exclaiming something. E for exclaiming!
wow - seems Everyone wanted to be Early! ... E wasn't up quite yet when I posted my E entry (in the Early hours of the morning for this part of the Earth) but in the approximately 8 hours between then and now - there were 62 others already added their links! lol
ReplyDelete... pity I don't have time to look at them though - I am sneaking this in while checking my e-mail at work ;-)
that is really sweet Roger! Great post for today.
ReplyDelete& thank you Ms. Nesbitt too!
Ebullient post! Enjoyed I did.
ReplyDeleteAn Erumpant day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday everyone :)
Good to be back. I missed a few! Such fun.
ReplyDeleteGreat kick off to the E day. In Greensboro, since we're doing A-Z streets, E is for Elm Street!
ReplyDeleteRoger, another way to immortalize, more or less, the memory of your mother and any other worthy person is to create some personalized postcards and stamps (such as from zazzle) with them.
ReplyDeleteYour family real photos might remain confined to your offline or online places, but such postcards and stamps may end up in interesting collections from around the world, long after ALL of us are gone.
E seems more of a challenge than I thought.
ReplyDeleteNot EASY!
Eloquent thanks, Roger - we are lucky to have you too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday all!
I just learned lots of E words here. Thanks for the excellent post

ReplyDeleteVery sorry to learn of your Mom's passing away. Hope time will help u accept her absence.
May her soul be in peace....
I lost my father last July and I still cannot really believe he isn't around anymore, especially because it has been years now since I left home.It just feels like he has gone out somewhere and couldn't take my call...
Take care
