K for F D Kilday.

Fay Diane Kilday.

This delightful poem from F.D. Kilday , I would like to dedicate to my darling husband Ian....

Because of you,

My world is a much nicer place, Because of you

I know what it means to love

 unconditionally

I have faith in the human race.

 Because of you,

I know what it means to give unselfishly.

 Because of you,

I believe in magic and mystery

 and worlds unseen.

 Because of you,

Ian showing one of  his special Birthday beers..Cheers, Sante, Braust !

As most of my friends on ABCW know that Ian will be having a tripple by-pass vi' open heart surgery within 4-5 weeks
.So please join me in prayers and special thoughts for a good recovery.
I know we are both in our early 70's but there is so much more we want to do. Particularly, to spend valuable time with our beloved families, they are everything to us.
Our first born grandchild Molly celebrates her 13th birthday today...
A teenager at last..
 ' Happy Birthday Molls'.
Her Mummy Kirsten, our eldest daughter, is Keeping a close eye on this Kittenish little lady, being fully aware of the capers she got up to when she was a teenager !
She is a lovely girl, kind loving and does very well at her school... Keep up the good work darling Molls, we are so proud of you.xxx

To finish this most touching prose by Faye Diane KILDAY.

'There is joy- wherever you are

 and have ever been.

 And all because of you'

My sincere thanks to the ever Joyful Denise who first devised abcw, to Roger who uses his Journalistic skills, ably assisted by the Jaunty Leslie. Not forgetting the busy team who Jog around abcw and make appropriate comments on their allotted memes.

Best wishes to all abcw contributors.
Di,

    1. Thanks Carol for your kind wishes, I'm surprised you haven't seen my recent blogs,
as I haven't missed any weeks. Most of them are on my Trubes site,
I've only done two introductions on the ABCW site,
Perhaps, I may have missed visiting some of my favourite memes, including yours, as I've been, literally 'up the wall' with all the worry of Ian's on-going health problems and also mine.
I'm disabled Ian is my main carer and he will certainly not be able to assist me in the way he does whilst he's recovering, however we have two of our three daughters living nearby so thev've got a plan to pitch in and help, We are lucky to have such a supportive family.
I just wish it will be dealt with now, waiting is the worst part.
Best wishes to you and little Art Dog.

Thanks for your kind words, we have two daughters living nearby
and they are already working out a care plan for us both, unfortunately
I am disabled and Ian is my main carer but our girls are most supportive.
The Birthday girl is going shopping with her birthday money next Saturday,
with her friends also, after that they are having a sleep-over, a movie and Pizza..Great Stuff !

    1. Hi Carol,
Thank you for your kind words they mean such a lot.
Ian seems to take everything in his stride, I'm the
      worrier, I'm afraid to say.
We do have a good life together, whether it be shared holidays
all over Europe and Turkey and laterly the UK. We.ve seen our girls'
grow up and marry become mothers, and in turn, us becoming grandparents.
So we have been lucky to have had so much,
I'm mentally planning our next holiday to celebrate Ian's recovery (hopefully in September).
We only go away for up to a week these days as we don't like to leave our little Cat Chloe for
too long (Ingrid and Astrid look after her, or rather spoil her).
Hope Black Jack and Bill are well, and you, of course !
      Best Wishes,
      Di.

    2. Thank you so much for commenting TWICE when you have so many other things on your mind, Di! I appreciated the lovely response to my very late "J" post and also this one that gives me a further peek into your life. I must come back and look for some posts about Chloe! You really are a treasure to the ABC and blogging worlds, and I know there is a whole TON of good energy coming your way to take Ian through his surgery and the two of you on to your next wonderful adventure!

    1. Dear Wil, what terrible news, I am so sorry to learn about your darling
daughter's breast cancer. I do hope it can be dealt with.
In the meantime I shall pray for her and you, her family too.
Life can be so awful, just when we feel all is going well, something happens,
      then drags us all back.
Thank you for your prayers for Ian, and I shall pray, and I really mean, pray hard,
      for your dear daughter Wil,

  22. Prayers for Ian. My husband had a quadruple bypassa year and a half ago. He is 61. He did really well, and the doctor and nurses were the best. I'm sure Ian will do fine- it's not like the old days anymore, and patients do really well now with all the new procedures. Of course- your TLC when you get home will be the best thing for him
