A is for Apple
ANYWAY, this AMAZINGLY clever-in-its-simplicity meme that Denise Nesbitt created some six and a half years AGO was started so that people might ACQUAINT themselves with others.
One writes something beginning with - for this week - the letter A, such as A is for APPLE. Next week will be B, and the following week? I trust you know your ABCs. It can be a picture or poem or ARTICLE. See what other people have ADDED. The post must ALLUDE to ABCW, preferably with a link and/or use of the badge ABOVE.
You take that completed post and link it to our linky thing on Tuesdays AROUND 16:00 in the UK, which is ALREADY Wednesday in parts of the world. You'll need only the URL of the specific post, your blog name (or in ALTERNATIVE, the topic of the post) AND your e-mail, and you should get an ABUNDANCE of visitors, particularly if you too visit five to ten ADVENTURERS.
If you have ANY questions, or if you would like to AUGMENT our team that visits sites and writes these intros, you should contact me, Roger Green, who is the current ADMINISTRATOR of the site. My e-mail ADDRESS is RogerOGreen (at) gmail (dot) com.

Time to celebrate a round 14:) Do you know the game A is for Apples? I very seldom play games, because I'll find a 100 other things more interesting to do, but this one I don't mind.ReplyDelete
ah...loved your pun, Roger, about the core!ReplyDelete
I am not so sure about the publishing day, our Tuesday is only Wednesday in Australia. When in the European countries it is Wednesday 8 am it is 7 am in the UK they are one hour behind. Don't ask me why and at that time all Americans are still asleep. I schedule my themes on 4.30 am and that is then the day of the game for everybody. But of course I will follow the majority ! lol !ReplyDelete
Well, when it's Wednesday at 16:00 GMT, it's Thursday in Australia and New Zealand. But it's midnight in China and all of the places (Singapore, e.g) that follow China time. And Daylight Saving Time/British Summer Time, I'm sure, mucks it up.Delete
This is my maiden attempt at ABC Wednesday.ReplyDelete
I'm so glad to be back again to the ABC fun! :)ReplyDelete
Thanks for hosting. I am glad I am starting the cycle at letter A!ReplyDelete
Thanks for this great meme! I´m also starting ... perfect with A! :)ReplyDelete
Welcome, Nick, Mary, and all of you, both new, returning after a gap, and the stalwarts.Delete
As a former kindergarten and first grade teacher, I remember that well. We drew apple pictures, made letter A shapes with tactile objects, traced As, even ate apples. We got all the senses involved. - MargyReplyDelete
Yeah! I made it in by the end of the day. Blessings!ReplyDelete
