D is for something different!

Whilst we are all from different counties, states, countries and indeed continents, one thing we all do is enjoy our food.......
so Denise is asking you.....what do YOU like with a cup of tea or morning coffee?

Above you see my ultimate treat. A Danish pastry. Apricot with a hidden vanilla cream....pure DENOMIC DELIGHT!

So.......come on share yours.

  1. I tend to eat oatmeal and blueberries with flax meal every morning but love blueberry or raspberry turnover pastries ~ Enjoy the week ^_^

  3. DAMN you! lol I try to stay away from sweets so usually have a healthy cereal with yogurt mixed in it. But for something DIFFERENT, I do like scrambled eggs.

  5. DITTO to Leslie!!!! I am sorry to say that while DANISH are DELIS...I stick with my tasty but somewhat DRAB fat free plain yogurt with some berries and sometimes granola.

  9. Good one for D. If not a danish, perhaps a donut to dine on with a cup of Dunkin' Donuts cofee. Me? I usually go with 3 poached eggs and an avocado.

  10. I usually have my bowl of Special K cereal, but what I really want is a nice gooey pastry just warm from the oven.

  13. Oh, that looks delicious! Can I have one of those just once?
I typically have scrambled eggs or a bowl of oatmeal, but I think I could deviate from the plan just once. :)

  16. Like everyone else here (my, but aren't we a healthy bunch?), my morning meal is totally wholesome (fruit and plain fat-free yogurt or a hard-boiled egg),
but if I could have what I really want, I'd enjoy a lovely, buttery croissant!

  21. I like a little something sweet with my tea ... danish is good, cookies are delicious, sometime toast and jam.

  22. I usually have cracker and cheese and fruit. YUM!

  23. My usual breakfast is oatmeal and an English muffin with Spreadable Fruit (orange marmalade) and coffee. But if I could afford the calories, I'd indulge in Panera's orange scone. Delicious and delightful!

  24. I have to reach back to B for mine. I make bran muffins that are both healthy and tasty. Plus, they are so easy to warm up in the toaster oven in the morning I'm not tempted by decadent danish (even though it does look worth the calories). - Margy

  25. Yes, for me the Danish would be different, because they would be too sweet in the morning for me:)

  26. If I were to buy such Danish goodies, they would not last until morning coffee.
I have to do with buttered toast.

  27. Denise, I think it is demonic that you don't share the delicious recipe...though now that I think of it, it may come from that Danish bakery...hmmmm, do tell, please do tell!

  28. MMM!!! Looks delicious, Denise! A sticky cinnamon roll does the trick for me, but yogurt and toast are what usually what I end up with.

Happy Wednesday all and good to see you, Denise!

    Take care,
    Kathy
