I loved the women's 4X100.
Oh, my! That's a hard choice. I think I would chose if I MUST, the Fabulous Five Gymnasts.
It was all simply AMAZING! I'm so proud of our women's soccer team (Canada) and others. I was jumping up and down for Michael Phelps, Farrah, Bolt, and so many more! If I wasn't rooting for Canada, I was rooting for the GB Team! They did fabulous and brought me lots of EXCITEMENT and ELATION! PS: See you soon Mrs. N!!!
Congratulations! GB did a super-fine job and should be praised for it. Way to go!!
You must be so proud to be British. I teach my little kids, Pussy cat where have you been? I've been to London to see the Queen.
Congratulations! To every country in the world that took part in this great manifestation, I send my deepest respect for these brilliant achievements. Of course my greatest moment of elation was when Epke Zonderland( Lackland) won a gold medal with his brilliant performance on the high bar. Well everybody gave a great show even if they didn't get a medal.
Wonderful pictures from Olympia. Beautiful !
What a great show and kudos to all our brothers and sisters across the pond for putting on such a wonderful 2012 Olympics!
Go Team GB! and everyone really. (Oh I love that nosegay). Matt Stutzman is soooo inspiring.
What kind of medal do I get for placing sixth this week? Lead? Tin?
Those are wonderful shots to show excitement. There were so many moments I saw when watching on my TV that I can't pick a favorite.
Fantastic word and descriptive pictures for the letter E.I enjoyed the Olympics and all your country did to make it successful.
Wow! So great photos. Beautiful series.Hilda

I think E is extremely interesting and great snaps tooPhenoMenon
Hard to choose a favourite moment from so many spectacular results. Think the Dressage was marvellous! Great photos.
Elation was diffinately going around for the past 14 days!!! I love the gymnastics - didn't miss an event. Wonderful elated expressions.ann
Hello.Being an Olympian is no easy task. In my eyes, everyone is a winner, medal or not, but with that being said, it was nice to see Andy beat Roger in the tennis. He so deserved that medal!Have a great week everyone!E is for: The Eyes Of Life
The elation expressed in the first couple of photos is amazing! I think I enjoy the art of the gymnastics and all water sports the most!
I'm for the tears of happiness:)
You have captured some wonderful Expressions in these photos. Beautiful olympics. Well done! In many ways, i think London Experienced the same change of heart that Vancouver did in our own olympics, once we were actually into the real Event. Congratulations to Britain for such a fine showing. My most memorable moments would be the end of the quarter final (Canada lost to the U.S.) and the final for women's soccer (France lost to Canada). Both times, the result changed in the dying seconds of the game.
There was lots of elation, entertainment and expectation, wasn't there? I don't think I could have sustained that level of excitement for much longer...lol!
Love your photos of the medalists. Usain Bolt was hilarious. Amazing athlete. Gymnastics always fantastic and nail biting. Loved the swimming and diving too. The track events too. Not so excited about beach volley ball. Didn't know who to cheer for between Roger and Andy. They both had such good reasons for being the winner. I have been a fan of Federer for several years. But OH! England deserved this medal. And I missed the game on TV. Not too thrilled with NBC coverage overall.
What a great games it was... I think the highlight was the cycling in the Velodrome - who knew it could be so exciting? Plus the swimming... I'll skip the inflatable octopus and Russell Brand in the closing ceremony - that was just embarrassing!
The Williams sisters :) My "E" is up
Splendid E post, Denise! There were too many magnificent moments to pick a favorite, but overall, hats off to Great Britain for a job well done!
From the Olympics I loved the opening ceremony, and the atmosphere in London ! Very special and cheeful ! Sports are not for me :)!
Well done, athletes—and well done, London!
Proud to be British :)
Great post, with fascinating photos, full of emotins.
Wow! Did you take these shots? EXCELLENT!
Great photos showing great emotion!
Great expressions of elation....there was certainly a lot of that, and also its opposite, over the past two weeks.
Certainly lots of elation visible in those pictures; great. I don't know that I really have a favorite moment, since I'm not really much of an Olympic fan, but I am always astounded at what the athletes can accomplish. I think they're all champions, whether they left the Games with a medal or not.
I loved the Olympics, and well done, London. I almost made my post about Eric Idle, what with his saucy song (and Prince Harry singing and whistling along). I'm not a fan of royalty but must admit this new crop coming up seem progressive enough to eventually liquidate the assets and set England right! Great posts, all! Amy
An excellent E post. I enjoyed the Olympics and loved watching the kiwis win gold medals.
